Sengled smart light bulbs require a compatible hub, such as the Sengled Smart Hub, SmartThings Hub, Wink Hub, or Hubitat Hub, which must be purchased separately. These bulbs are not compatible with the Philips Hue bridge system.

Unlike Wi-Fi-connected devices, Sengled smart light bulbs utilize Zigbee technology, which connects to the internet via an Ethernet cable. This approach is not limited by the constraints of 2.4 or 5 GHz routers, providing a more stable connection.

The Sengled smart light bulbs are compatible with Amazon Echo devices, including the Echo 4th Gen, Echo Plus, Echo Show 10, and Echo Studio. However, additional hubs are required when connecting these bulbs to Echo Dot or Google Assistant devices.

To set up the Sengled smart light bulb, simply screw it into an E26 socket, then continuously switch the power supply on and off 10 times within 1 minute to reset the bulb. Alternatively, you can scan the QR code on the bulb after resetting and follow the instructions in the accompanying app to add the smart light bulb.
